ARC And Departure Order
- If you have been issued a removal order from Canada, you may need an Authorization to Return to Canada (ARC) to re-enter. Whether an ARC is required depends on the type of removal order received. Departure Orders require an ARC if you did not verify your departure within 30 days. Exclusion Orders necessitate an ARC if re-entry is within 12 months or due to misrepresentation. Deportation Orders always require an ARC. When applying, immigration officers will assess various factors, and seeking help from experienced immigration lawyers is recommended to ensure a thorough and accurate application.
- To apply for an ARC, you must provide detailed documentation and a compelling case demonstrating why you should be allowed back into Canada. This includes addressing the reasons for your removal and showing that the circumstances have changed. The process can be complex, and the likelihood of success improves with professional legal assistance. Immigration lawyers can help navigate the requirements, compile necessary documents, and present a strong case to Canadian immigration authorities.
